In reading our founding documents it becomes abundantly clear just how far we have drifted from our founding principles. For this reason, I have started Rooted to truth. The Rooted to Truth Podcast seeks to integrate Patriotism with Christianity in order to re-establish Biblical citizenship in America. My focus will be applying Biblical truth to our discussions regarding cultural and political disputes, as well as historically accurate events that are currently omitted from school curriculum. Tune in as we fight for the soul of America by the wielding of the sword that is the Word of God.

E16: Broken Oaths & A Broken Country
Since before America declared independence, the practice of making promissory oaths was an essential binding component that established a relationship between leaders and the people. It wasn't just a word spoken, but rather was a covenant made between leaders and those they represent, with God as the overseer in the matter. With the understanding that God is supreme governor and judge over the actions executed by humanity, a promise made with God as judge meant that the promise maker declared an understanding for the inevitable repercussions of their actions if they were to break their word. This fundamental component to the American governing system has been stripped of meaning overtime, and its consequences are obvious since there is a growing distrust for the people representing us in governing positions. If we are without trust, what are we left with? What are we freedom loving, Christ followers to do about this monumental issue? That's the invaluable question. Tune in to hear what we can do to make a difference.

I had been training as a figure skater for 11 years when I felt God calling me to leave that world and move into the calling that He would show me.
